Who we are

Frankie’s Foundation was established in memory of Frank Tupper Jr., a dedicated blue-collar union worker who was tragically taken from us far too early.  Our mission is to promote careers in the trades by supporting aspiring workers with training, tools, and equipment, as well as financial assistance such as initiation fee coverage and scholarships.  We also aim to raise awareness about the vital role of skilled labor.  We believe that a career in construction can provide a fulfilling and rewarding life, and that hardworking individuals have the power to build a brighter future.

The foundation is committed to supporting the next generation of tradespeople.  We offer scholarships to students pursuing careers in construction, heavy highway work, and related fields.  Our goal is to remove barriers and provide opportunities for talented individuals to succeed.

We are proud to collaborate with Local Union’s in Pittsburgh.  Union’s represent skilled workers dedicated to the craft of construction and heavy highway work.  Their commitment to safety, quality, and community aligns perfectly with our mission to promote the trades and support aspiring workers.

Together, we work to inspire the next generation of tradespeople, emphasizing the importance of union training, safety standards, and professional development.  Our partnership helps ensure that the future of construction in Pittsburgh is built on a foundation of excellence, safety, and opportunity.
